    EXCESSIVE CRYING

    Many causes of excessive crying include:

    • Ear Infection
    • Hunger
    • Wet Diaper
    • Headache
    • Trauma
    • Colic
    • Constipation
    • Excessive Gas
    • Fever
    • Need to be held
    • Need for Sleep

    First things first:

    1. Check if the child is warm (temperature)
    2. If possible take a temperature
    3. If temperature is present and is safe to give Tylenol, give appropriate dose then notify a caregiver.

    Check for any sign of trauma, wet diaper or just a need to be held or sleep.

    Try a pacifier or a little sip of water if all else fails seek medical attention.
