EXCESSIVE CRYING
Many causes of excessive crying include:
- Ear Infection
- Hunger
- Wet Diaper
- Headache
- Trauma
- Colic
- Constipation
- Excessive Gas
- Fever
- Need to be held
- Need for Sleep
First things first:
- Check if the child is warm (temperature)
- If possible take a temperature
- If temperature is present and is safe to give Tylenol, give appropriate dose then notify a caregiver.
Check for any sign of trauma, wet diaper or just a need to be held or sleep.
Try a pacifier or a little sip of water if all else fails seek medical attention.
